Classically trained on piano from the age of 7 years. Laurel learnt the piano accordion from 12 years and
was a regular choir member who sang at the Albert Hall in London, England. Passionate about Art and Music from an early age.
Trained
British teacher with Art specialism B. Ed Hons degree ( from Portsmouth University, England) Self-taught during her student
years to play Tenor Saxophone. Laurel could often be found busking and singing with her blues band on the streets of
Portsmouth, England.
Laurel was talented-scouted by the manager of the ‘Holiday Inn’ whilst busking with her Jazz
Band and offered regular Sunday gigs. Laurel continues to sing and play with bands today.
Teacher in the south of England up to 2001.
Studied her Fine Art skills for 7 years whilst living in Switzerand from 2001.

established 2004 selling Commission Art and Original Art worldwide.
Received qualification of ‘British
Listed Artist’ in August 2007, by the board (World Artist Directory/WAD)
Commenced free Art Blog in 2007 - to share her
love of art and photography and nature. Her blog has now reached it's fourth year and hits worldwide reach over
9,000 per month.
Commissioned by the author to illustrate the children's book ‘Coming Home' 2007
which is in the process of being published by a major American Publisher.
Requested by the Senior Management of Maya International to begin creating characters for a major Animation
Film in November 2009 based on UAE life.
