Autumn in the Neuchatel woods in  Switzerland was a spectacular sight. The colours of fall lay like a carpet of reds over the forest trails. They were secret, hushed and silent places and sometimes when walking my dog Axel, I felt like I was the only person in the whole world. I loved that feeling of being a part of nature and part of the seasons. In the original oil painting I wanted to capture the texture of the autumn leaves and the intensity and variety of colours. The rain fell so heavily in autumn and all the air was damp and wet and I wanted to capture that heavy atmosphere in my painting. 

Framing is Easy!

This painting can be put straight into an A3 sized frame of your choice. Or if you like to add size and impact add a mat/mount for this painting, then add an A2 sized frame.
Use Picture Mounting Tape to secure the painting to the mount on all four sides.
