Out and about with my dog Bella Boo we found this small Loch in the North East of Scotland where the deep blue skies were reflecting the beach trees beautifully. I love the contrast between colours and playing with colour tones. Sometimes deep into the summer there is an intensity of colours to play with. I have always been chasing water - in terms of trying to paint it effectively. Trying to capture its lightness alongside its depth is always a challenge. Water is always moving, so the challenge is to allow that movement into the painting without controlling it and reducing it into a lump of colour. And just like water, that is always difficult to grasp.

This painting can be put straight into an A3 sized frame of your choice. Or if you like to add size and impact add a mat/mount for this painting, then add an A2 sized frame.
Use Picture Mounting Tape to secure the painting to the mount on all four sides.
