Axle and I would often take this woodland route on our dog walk, passing this cute little hut in the woods. Sometimes we saw the beekeeper collecting his smoke for the bees. I would often wonder how lovely that honey would taste from those unspoilt woods. Sometimes I collected some of those wild flower favourites. 
 
In the winter that steep path was often treacherous and it wasn't unusual to take a fall on the ice. There were a few occasions when the snow and ice was so deep, like the worst kind of ice rink-  that the only way to get own the path was to do so on my derrier.
