If I could do a painting to celebrate the joy and feel of the sun this was it. The brightness, that washes all those colours away, leaving only the bright blue. The heat of the sun on your skin, the touch of the sun, the danger of the sun too. But ultimately that moment of joy, when life feels truly wonderful.
This was the image I chose for my new music release of cover 'The Girl From Ipanema'. She embodies that sun-kissed feel and I can imagine her walking bare-foot along the beach to the rhythm of the sand and surf.
Each print is a high-quality reproduction of an original painting by Laurel Moore. It is produced using Archival Pigment Inks on Fine Art Lustre 310gsm Paper to ensure vibrant colour, sharp detail and durability for over 100 years.
