The Icy Stick, Fine Art Print by Laurel Moore
 
I love to find something special to highlight in a painting. The ice on this Scottish Loch made a tinkling sound in the frosty air and the icy stick floated surrounded by shards of ice. I wanted to create the feeling that you could almost pick the stick up out of the icy water. The large expanse of cold deep water seemed to highlight the solitary stick.

I personally PRINT and SHIP EVERY Art Print that I sell, using my superb Professional Canon Image Prograf 310 printer. The inks are incredibly vibrant and they never disappoint me. I did try the cheaper option of Giclee online, but found that the paper used is often matt, which soaks up the ink like a sponge, leaving my art looking incredibly flat and sad! When what I really want is for my paintings to 'sing and dance' on your wall!
 
I also get to be very picky about the paper I choose. I prefer a Permajet Lustre 285gsm, which is not only incredibly vivid and alive, it adds that lovely sheen of deliciousness to it!
