I painted this one from my regular dog walk. This time the snow had fallen heavily for many days. It was thick everywhere. In places where the tractor had been through, it had turned to slush and mud and ice. I wanted to express the icy cold against the blue sky and icy clouds. I loved the colours that twinkled when the sun shone through. Dazzling everywhere for only moments in time. I loved the patches of ice that reflected the colours of the sky.
