Little Guitar Dreams, Fine Art Print by Laurel Moore
 
I was inspired by an image I found of a little boy playing a guitar. Then I added lots of fantastical elements as flights of fancy. I love the bright and jolly colours. I love that everything comes from inside. The creativity, the life, the start of something wonderful. Picking up an instrument and beginning is sometimes hard, challenging and can lead to a wonderful journey of discovery. The start of something special. I can't remember when I first wanted to play Tenor Sax, but I was always drawn to the sound of it. I tried for years to talk myself out of the idea. But I was fixated on it. That was the only instrument for me. It is kind of a love affair that has only grown. And the journey is ever expanding too, because there's always more to learn, further to go, to push, to try. Sometimes it sounds terrible, but there are moments, those moments.................

I personally PRINT and SHIP EVERY Art Print that I sell, using my superb Professional Canon Image Prograf 310 printer. The inks are incredibly vibrant and they never disappoint me. I did try the cheaper option of Giclee online, but found that the paper used is often matt, which soaks up the ink like a sponge, leaving my art looking incredibly flat and sad! When what I really want is for my paintings to 'sing and dance' on your wall!
 
I also get to be very picky about the paper I choose. I prefer a Permajet Lustre 285gsm, which is not only incredibly vivid and alive, it adds that lovely sheen of deliciousness to it!
